Haavis Training Center = Theory + Practice on a Real Ship Mock-up!
We have opened a training center in Märja, near Tartu, that is unique across the Baltic and Scandinavian region—and even beyond.
In addition to a classroom and workshop, the center features a full-scale ship mock-up. This allows participants to practice a wide range of tasks required in ship interiors, including insulation installation, welding, and finishing of walls, ceilings, and floors, among others.
The training combines professional theoretical knowledge with real hands-on experience, giving participants a comprehensive understanding of ship interior construction.
The training includes:
✔ occupational safety and materials theory
✔ reading technical drawings and using tools
✔ installation of frames, ceilings, and walls
✔ hands-on work on a ship mock-up in a production-like environment
✔ installation of doors, panels, and finishing elements
