Requirements
- Previous experience managing shipbuilding projects
- Technical or maritime-related education
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, email, etc.); experience with MS Project is an advantage
- Willingness to spend extended periods away from home
- Language skills:
- English – spoken – very good, written – good
- Finnish- spoken – good, written – an advantage
- Russian -spoken – conversational, written – an advantage
- Estonian – an advantage
- Minimum category B driving license
Start: Immediately
Main tasks
- Project execution supervision:
- Ensuring compliance with project scope and timelines
- Monitoring budget and agreed workloads
- Assessing and adjusting workforce needs according to schedules and workloads
- Submitting daily reports
- Communicating and coordinating with client representatives
- Participating in project meetings
- Tracking project progress and signing off readiness reports with the client
- Timely identification and documentation of claims / deviations / obstacles etc.
- Identifying and agreeing on additional work with the client
- Signing timesheets for additional work
- Monitoring employee working hours (the company uses an automated time tracking system)
- Submitting a final project summary report upon project completion
